*AIGLX* or _Accelerated Indirect GLX_ is a [[X.org]] and [[Fedora]] project to provide video card accelerated rendering over [[GLX]] - allowing [[X]] clients to use a computer's video card to drive X Windows animations, such as in [[OSX]], [[Vista]] or [[Compiz]]/[[Xgl]] windowing systems.

[[Mandriva]] and [[Fedora]] have support for [[AIGLX]], packages are available as well on [[Ubuntu]].

AIGLX requires an embedded Intel i830-i945 integrated graphics processor, or an ATI Radeon X800 / NVIDIA 9xxxx card.
