ROMA is a web application framework for building [[Ajax]] powered web applications from simple [[POJO]]s.

ROMA is based on an [[OOP|Object Oriented]] [[MVC]] architecture, encouraging the Domain Driven development model. The use of POJOs as the basic programming elements allows ROMA applications to be portable across Java frameworks.

ROMA utilizes inversion of control through the [[Spring|Spring Framework]] IoC container, other IoC containers such as [[Picocontainer]] may be used as well.
