It includes features not found in some of the other PHP ORM tools, such as batch fetching - proxy fetching and lazy property fetching.
Also included is support for multiple databases, column aggregation inheritance, and other ORM features.
To increase the speed of the ORM overhead, Doctrine uses query optimization and database optimization to improve query speed.
Doctrine requires [[PDO]], which is bundled with default PHP.
